What you don't know about the current Mr. Universe, Tseye Ogedegbe
Tyrone Tseye Ogedegbe is the current Mr Universe. He is a Briton born of Nigerian parents. He training in the same gym as Arnold Schwarzenegger, the famous Hollywood actor. He started getting the passion for body building and training. The physical appearance he was gaining was also being commended by people. One day, he was approached at the gym by his personal trainer who told him he can use his physique to win competitions.
He started body building competitions in 2012. The first year, he did a few competitions. That same year, he did Mr Great Britain, also took part in Musclemania, which is the biggest natural body-building competition in the world. Winning Musclemania, Great Britain qualified him to be a professional body builder. So he went on to take part in the Mr Universe Competition, competing against other people across the world, which he also won. Being the current Mr Universe has given him a lot of exposure, magazine articles and promotional stuff. The title, Mr Universe is indeed a license to make money.
Though he lives in UK, he is also very proud of his Nigerian roots which can be traced to the illustrious Ogedegbe family in Warri, Delta which has also produced the likes of former Super Eagles goalkeeper, the late Best Ogedegbe and Nathaniel Ogedegbe. Interestingly, Tseye is not into full-time body building. He is a Business Management and Information Technology graduate and also works as an Investment Analyst.
